CIFRE (for Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la Recherche) are Industrial Research Training Agreements that allow French 
companies that recruit a doctoral student in the framework of a collaboration with a public laboratory to be subsidized.

If you have a professional activity, you will have to provide a certificate of monthly salary equal to or higher than the amount of doctoral contract, that is, in 2023 : 2.044,12 € gross.
